Overview
Cole Remodeling LLC is a continuation of Cole Construction that was founded by Barry Cole more than 30 years ago. Barry Cole is still very much involved with the company today. Cole prides itself on its creative and innovative design solutions at affordable prices. Sarah Susanka ( Arcitect) wrote the a well known book "The Not So Big House" back in the 90s. In it she describes how she came to realize that many homes have underutilized or even unutilized space and that through creative space planning it can be remade to better fit the family living there and how they live in it. Barry Cole knew this long before Sarah's book ever came out and Cole has been bring these kinds of ideas to our customer for over 30 years. Every great project begins with a great design and that is why we have made this a free service to our customers. At Cole we believe that if we show our customers a great design then we will win their confidence and their work.
It takes a unique set of skills to be able to surgically take apart a home and then put it back together in a way that is seamless. The last was in Oct. 2005 when a home in Ladue was center feature. The home was a four year project that took the home from 5400 sq ft to over 11000 sq ft. The magazine article features many of the unique solutions that made the house a one of a kind and included custom made light fixtures and railing system that was hand made in our sister companies metal fabrication shop.
